Who we are

CostaDelLove is operated at CostaDelLove.com. For privacy questions contact support@costadellove.com.

What we collect

Account email (kept private — only your alias is shown publicly), password (handled by Firebase Authentication), profile fields you choose to fill in, messages, gallery media, grant records, reports, and basic technical logs needed to run the service. We may also process bot-protection tokens (Google reCAPTCHA) at registration.

How we use it

To operate CostaDelLove: authentication, discovery, messaging, gallery access control, abuse prevention, account deletion, and responding to support requests. We do not sell member data.

Storage & processors

Account and content data are stored with Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Realtime Database) on Google Cloud. The apps are hosted on Vercel. Session cookies are HttpOnly and SameSite=Strict. Transactional email (verification, password reset, support alerts) may be sent via Resend or Firebase Auth email templates. Optional error monitoring (e.g. Sentry) may receive technical error events when configured — never passwords.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics for anonymous, aggregate traffic insights (for example visits to the landing and login pages, and approximate referrers such as search or social). It does not identify you as a member and is not used to track you across other sites. We do not use Google Analytics on the member app.

International transfers

Processors such as Google Cloud and Vercel may process data in the EU, UK, US, or other regions. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards offered by those providers.

Retention

Profiles and content remain until you delete your account or moderation removes them. Nuking an account soft-deletes profile data and disables or removes the Auth user. Backups and logs may persist for a limited operational window.

Your choices

Update your profile in settings, revoke gallery grants, clear conversations, request password reset, and nuke your account. You may also report another member from their profile or a thread. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data — contact support@costadellove.com.

Cookies

Essential session cookies for signed-in members. Local or session storage may hold language preference and age-gate confirmation. Analytics may use first-party measurement as described by Vercel Web Analytics.
